Join our team at AstraZeneca's Rare Disease Unit, Alexion, as a Sr. Agile Delivery Manager. This role is pivotal in delivering key strategic and cross-functional projects across Alexion Operations (AO), with a focus on outcomes and benefits realisation. As a member of the AO Operational Excellence Team, you will be an advocate of our OPEX framework and standards, modelling new ways of working and behaviours. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead and support AO teams in the adoption of new Agile methodologies and ways of working. You will organise and facilitate agile ceremonies, ensure that agile principles and practices are understood and followed by all team members, and use agile metrics and tools to track progress and forecast project completion. You will also provide oversight and program management leadership over multiple projects, develop detailed project plans, manage changes in project scope and delivery timelines, and identify and manage project risks/issues to ensure successful execution.
Essential Skills/Experience: Bachelor's DegreeAt least 10 years' experience leading teams using Agile project management and Scrum methodology.Experience managing Digital Transformation programs/projectsChange management experience in diverse, cross-functional teamsProven track record of leading large-scale, enterprise-wide projectsExperience in relationship managementExcellent customer service and business acumenStrong storytelling skillsSignificant experience presenting in front of senior-level stakeholdersCross-functional experience in a supply chain environment and/or Life Sciences / BioPharma industriesManagement consulting experienceProject Management CertificationCertified Scrum MasterChange Management CertificationCertified to Black/Green belt level or relevant Lean QualificationAre you ready to make an impact – in medicine, for patients and society?
