Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations is collaborating closely with all Board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables.YOUR FUTURE ROLE:We are looking for a Quality Engineer (f/m/d) in the areas of SAP Cloud Products within the Technology & Engineering unit of Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations team in the Platform Product Engineering board area.In this role, you will become a member of the Quality Engineering team, working closely with release managers, engineering/product/program managers, developers, and architects. You will be responsible for developing and executing test cases to support the overall solution release process. The QA Job function works collaboratively with all participants in software deployment projects. You will manage the complex challenges of scale and security unique to SAP Sovereign Cloud, while using your expertise in automated testing, software delivery, developing test cases, and defect resolution. You will engage closely with the SAP Sovereign Cloud operations, infrastructure, platform, and application teams to ensure that relevant SAP product development teams can execute against their requirements backlog derived from government security control frameworks.You will participate in the overall Release Management lifecycle, which includes scheduling, coordinating, and executing test cases for releases in each Cloud Landscape for multiple applications across various portfolios. The releases can include application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, or migrations. You will work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to identify defects, track defect remediation, and include software or solution updates required to resolve issues in future release plans.WHAT YOU BRING:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field.Understanding and knowledge of software development lifecycle.Experience with Agile Frameworks and Regression Testing
