We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our Team in Lisbon!
What you will do
The Sous Chef is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests and serving as part of the management team leading the culinary team.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about cuisine! Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are required in this position.
The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in planning, organizing, controlling and directing the work of employees in the Kitchen Department responsible for food preparation while ensuring superior quality and consistency. Candidates should have relevant experience in a culinary/food & beverage position, or at least one year in a supervisory or assistant manager position.
What you bring
College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience is required;
Minimum one year previous experience in culinary/food & beverage line, supervisory or assistant manager positions;
Requires a working knowledge of division operations. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job;
The candidate must hold the required authorization to work in an European country;
Reading, writing and oral proficiency both in Portuguese and English.
