We are looking for a candidate who will bring a strategic and innovative procurement approach to Convatec as we continue our transformation journey. This is a key role within the Global Procurement function and will see the successful person be responsible for end-to-end procurement management within categories relevant to New Product development. By developing long term strategic procurement plans to align our current and future customer/business needs, you will be a key part of our ongoing transformation. The role is focused on supporting New Product Development (NPD) projects prior commercial launch and as Sourcing manager you will be representing Global Procurement in the NPD project teams. How you will add value: Develop fully integrated customer & business-aligned procurement strategies for assigned suppliers & product categories. Engage and manage critical relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that the procurement strategies are aligned, and the supply base can support NPD project requirements. Lead the implementation of your procurement strategy, ensuring procurement activities deliver successful results. Be accountable for delivering successful supply agreements for materials/products and/or services that support our procurement strategies. Take ownership of Source to Contract (S2C) processes, from identification through to award. Through successful Supplier Relationship Management, be accountable for for ensuring that the continually assessing the supplier base, ensuring it is and developed to meet changing demands.
