The Airbag Hardware dependent Software development team is responsible for developing complex device drivers and micro-controller drivers for Airbag control unit, from requirements analysis to component release, considering industry standards such as functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO 21434). We are part of our global development team for the Airbag platform, a highly configurable base used by more than 50 customers. Our mission is to save lives!
Job Description Your contribution to something big: Our common target: we save lives! Bring your contribution to ensure high-quality Airbag SW and help us protect the lives of our customers; You work in an international agile team with Germany, India and other locations; You contribute to achieve high efficiency and high quality in testing by using automated and continuous testing; You are responsible for developing SW test methods for our new Airbag platform and you apply these methods, mostly using SiL ( Software in the Loop ) test environment; You collaborate in a global team of SW Developers and Testers and are responsible for the complete test activities, by using state-of-the-art methods and tools. These activities include: Analysis and definition of tests (based on SW requirements and SW models); Development of test plans and test cases; Test automation and execution using ECU-TEST tool; Analysis of test results; Actively driving the improvement of SW quality throughout the whole organization You are part of a complete new team in Portugal and it is expected that you drive its growth. Main requirements What distinguishes you: Education: You have a university degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or similar. Experience: You have experience in embedded automotive SW testing or SW development. Know how: You take initiatives, have a structured approach, and look forward to defining and rolling out innovative test solutions. Languages: Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese (German is a plus). Working Style and Methods: You are a team player and have the flexibility to travel to partner locations. Personality: You are motivated to improve by continuous learning.
