We're currently on the lookout for an exceptional Software Test Automation Engineer. You will be a key player in a pivotal project within the financial sector, focusing on enhancing service speed and reliability for customers by transitioning applications from on-prem infrastructure to the public cloud.
Responsibilities: Test Automation Development: Craft, refine, and maintain automated test scripts utilizing Serenity, Cucumber, and Selenium to validate web application functionalities and performance. Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to craft test strategies and plans, ensuring thorough coverage through prioritized test scenarios and cases. Execution and Reporting: Manage the execution of automated tests, analyze outcomes, identify defects, and ensure efficient resolution of issues. CI/CD Integration: Embed automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and deployment, maintaining test stability across environments. Framework and Tooling Enhancement: Lead the evaluation and integration of cutting-edge testing tools and methodologies to elevate automation efficiency and effectiveness. Collaboration and Mentoring: Engage closely with cross-functional teams to align on testing objectives, while guiding junior engineers on best practices. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for test automation strategies, scripts, and outcomes to ensure transparency and reproducibility. Requirements:
At least 4 years in software development and test automation, with solid expertise in Serenity, Cucumber, and Selenium. Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Java or similar OOP languages, deep understanding of testing methodologies, and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins). Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in team settings.
