We're looking for a bright Software Quality Auditor to join our team.
At Critical TechWorks, a Software Quality Auditor ensures products meet the highest standards of quality. This role involves conducting thorough audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and BMW Group internal policies, and identifying areas for improvement. The Software Quality Auditor works collaboratively with BMW to ensure the highest level of development quality for the software that will integrate our products. This means overseeing the BMW Group software suppliers' understanding and finding value in achieving a high level of quality. This role requires exceptional human interaction, influence, and tactical skills, excelling in various forms of auditing quality deliverables. You will need to be self-sufficient, autonomous, and remain undaunted in your decisions, however difficult they may be.
Here is what your day to day will look like:
Plan, schedule, and conduct software quality audits, ensuring adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 12207, ASPICE), regulatory requirements, product quality standards, and BMW Group standards.
Review documentation, code, and processes to ensure compliance with established standards and best practices, perform risk assessments, and identify areas of non-compliance.
Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, non-conformances, and areas for improvement, and maintain comprehensive records of all audits and follow-up actions.
Work closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables, influencing and assisting suppliers in aligning with and achieving quality objectives.
Communicate audit results and recommendations to stakeholders, including management and development teams, and facilitate discussions and workshops to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Whatever you're working on, here's the lowdown on the technical skills you're likely to have:
Apart from great technical skills, our environment is fast-paced and 100% agile, prioritizing autonomy, teamwork, interaction, and resilience. This means our Software Quality Auditor must also possess the following:
