To support this journey, we are actively seeking a Software Engineer to join our team.
WHO? VORTEX-CoLab is looking for an exceptional Software Engineer with BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar and that gathers the following requirements:
4-6 years of professional experience in software development; Proficiency in modern C++ with a strong understanding of software development principles; Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) & Microservices Architecture (MSA) Experience in Agile methodologies, in particular scrum. Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts; Experience with C# or Python is a plus; Familiarity with CI/CD systems and best practices; Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to be independent preferably with coaching experience; Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; Experience with version control systems, specifically Git. WHAT? As a Software Engineer at Vortex-CoLab, you will work with a cross-functional team of other researchers and engineers to support R&D projects related to our innovation team in perception activities as well as robotics and advanced simulations.
How you can expect to fill your days: Design, develop, and maintain software solutions; Implement and integrate Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles; Participate in scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives; Participate in our innovation team projects, from AGVs, Simulation, AR applications and other cutting edge projects with our partners and clients; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components; Work with CI/CD systems to automate and streamline the development process; Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and domains as required by projects.
