As a Software Engineer (Backend) with Intapp, you will be working on the AI-powered, industry-specific cloud platform built to transform the way professional and financial services firms operate. You will work with senior engineers, technical leads, product managers, and designers, providing ample opportunities for mentorship that offer the successful candidate pathways for skills development and career progression.
You will be a part of a growing, innovative team and will work closely with the development and product management teams innovating to enhance our existing software and develop new products. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that leverage .NET technologies and Azure Cloud services, having the opportunity to contribute to core features, and innovating the product within established frameworks.
What you will do:
Design and implement complex backend solutions using .NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Core, focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability in high-impact areas.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to system architecture discussions, and propose technical solutions.
Develop scalable and reliable cloud-native applications on the Azure Cloud Platform, under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Follow best practices for security, performance, and reliability in software development and cloud architecture.
Write clean, well-structured code following established coding standards and practices.
Participate in code reviews, absorb feedback, and continuously improve coding skills.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development and cloud computing.
Identify and proactively resolve technical challenges to continuously evolve how products are engineered at Intapp and prevent the occurrence of production incidents.
Work in a hybrid office environment (minimum 3 days at the office).
What you will need:
Experienced with .NET technologies, such as C# and ASP.NET.
Proven track record developing new backend services in an object-oriented programming language with preference for C#.
Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., SQL-Server).
Experience with Azure or other major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud).
Experience using testing frameworks for unit and integration testing.
Practical knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., OWASP, static code analysis tools).
Experience and comfort working in an agile software development culture.
Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced team environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and proactively communicate issues and progress.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
Be fluent in English. Portuguese language skills are a plus.
Have the ability to travel to other development centres for training or temporary job assignments.
