Your New Role Development and maintenance of Java-based backend applications using the Spring frameworkDesign and implementation of RESTful web services and APIsDatabase design and optimisationIntegration of external systems and servicesCarrying out code reviews and ensuring code qualityThird-level support and performance optimisationCollaborating with other development teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop technical solutions What You'll Need Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or training in the IT environmentExtensive experience in the development of Java-based backend applicationsGood knowledge of the Spring Framework, especially Spring BootExperience with the development of RESTful web services and APIsSolid knowledge of the use of databases (SQL, Hibernate and JPA)Knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging systems (e.g. Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ) is an advantageExperience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) desirableStrong problem-solving skills and a structured way of workingGood knowledge of English and the ability to collaborate successfully in an agile environment
