A Software Developer - Trainee will learn and become responsible for the development practices during the development phases of pre-production, user acceptance, and production.
The selected candidate will collaborate with all stakeholders and take responsibility for building high quality, functionally performing software in accordance with the available project documentation (business requirements, functional specification, solution document, etc.) for DevFactory - Matrix. We are looking for someone technically qualified in an IT environment, through their studies or previous work experience, proactive and eager to learn our ways of working while contributing to their continuous improvement.
This position may require traveling to other locations, such as France.
Key AccountabilitiesAs Software Developer - Trainee, you will:
Learn the way software development is implemented at Euronext and contribute to its improvements by writing well-designed and testable code;Review functional specifications together with other stakeholders;Understand the technical documentation (such as the Solution document) and contribute to its completion;Contribute to maintaining our coding guidelines and actively follow them;Automate test cases (nice to have);Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems;Implement tools to support the development and maintenance of the trading solution;Comply with project plans;Escalate any topic that might block day-to-day work;Be part of the team: the project team and the development team across locations.Profile and SkillsEducation and KnowledgeBS/MS degree or similar in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent working experience - IEFP Level VIAgile certification (nice to have);English (B2 or higher level).Euronext is looking for the following profile:Basic knowledge of different tools: Git, Jira;Linux (bash, shell, etc.) is a plus;Good knowledge of Java, C++, and SQL;Knowledge of Java Spring Boot;Level of seniority: trainee.We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
