Vestas Technology & Operations > Research & Development > Plant Performance & Reporting Plant Performance & Reporting is a sub department of Modelling & Analytics module with 30 employees, across several locations. The department is expanding in Porto, Portugal and is expected to be 4 people by the end of this year. In office, the team will be seated with colleagues from neighboring departments.Plant Performance & Reporting department is responsible for the continued development of several data-driven applications, which run centrally in Vestas's datacenter or as cloud deployments. Our applications typically integrate and operate on huge amounts of data from various sources to bring value for both internal and external customers. We continuously work to raise the bar for quality and usability in the delivered software applications. We seek to implement lovable solutions.Across the Modelling and Analytics department, we use SAFe for our agile prioritization and execution.Responsibilities Take initiative in collaborating with coworkers to ensure everyone progresses at an equitable pace Deliver modern, high-quality software solutions within the agreed time and quality Transform requirements from stakeholders and UX designers into generic user-friendly software solutions Participate in designing and implementing systems with focus on 99.99% uptime, lovability, IT security, and maintainability Keep focus on testability and delivering quality products Keep yourself up to date on relevant technology Qualifications Relevant IT education, minimum at Bachelor level 2-5 years of experience working professionally with complex C# development in larger application development projects Competencies C#/.NET v6/8 Kafka or similar Microservice architecture and technologies Kubernetes (Argo and Rancher) Azure DevOps and Azure fundamentals Redis or similar SQL- & NoSQL- Servers Scripting (PowerShell, Bash) NUnit / Moq test frameworks Experience in some of the following areas would be beneficial: Prometheus / Grafana Event sourcing Angular Frontend development Scrum, and working in an agile team Jira Continuous Delivery Octopus Deploy Linux / Windows servers Language skills: Fluent English (Writing and oral) What we offer We offer you an exciting opportunity to attain responsibility for data-driven applications, critical to both our customers and Vestas You will use the latest technologies supporting Vestas's goals which also stretch far into the digital world You will have excellent opportunities for cross-disciplinary technical and personal development A good work-life balance with particularly good options for supporting your best mix of work and family time Additional information We look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible, as we will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis.
