We transform fresh, organic fruits and veggies into handy single-serving meal moments such as instant smoothies, delicious fruit snacks, and fruity oats.Job Overview And Main GoalsWe are a fast-growing B-Corp company that strongly believes every single kencko-er we hire is part of our shared success.We're looking for a passionate Social & Environmental Responsibility Associate to join us and support the development of our sustainability and impact-related initiatives. This position requires strong teamwork and organization skills, the ability to think critically and to communicate effectively.Reporting to the Director of Social & Environmental Responsibility, you will work on company-wide ESG-related projects, covering topics like kencko's business and products' footprint, GHG emissions monitoring, and impact reporting. We are looking for someone to help us measure our impact and develop solutions so that we can grow in a responsible and increasingly sustainable way.ResponsibilitiesSupport environmental responsibility management initiatives, including GHG measurement, offsetting, and reduction initiativesWork with different internal departments seeking to improve the sustainability of the business operation (energy and water conservation, waste management, among others)Support social impact projects including give-back programs, donations, and other community-focused initiativesCollect and organize data to support the company's impact monitoring and reporting effortsRegularly research ESG best practices and legal requirementsCreate and maintain documentation for ESG projects and internal processesIdentify efficiency gains, sustainability measures, and impact creation opportunities, and participate in its implementationEmbody and promote a healthy working culture that is true to kencko's values, fostering a sense of teamwork and collaborationExperience You BringDegree in sustainability, environmental science, business management, economics, or related fieldPassion for sustainability, corporate impact and social responsibilityMinimum 2 years of experience in ESG research, analysis, consulting, or project managementFamiliarity with ESG frameworks, standards, and certifications, such as B CorpStrong organization, time management, and project management skillsDetail-oriented, with strong analytical and research skillsGood knowledge of Excel/Google sheets and PowerPoint/Google slidesAbility to work well with others in a collaborative team environmentComfortable working in an evolving and dynamic environmentAbility to laugh at yourself and at the small day-to-day thingsExcellent level of spoken and written EnglishFluent in PortugueseAbility to work in our Lisbon office 1-2 days per weekWhat we offerAn employee stock equity award approved by the Board of DirectorsPrivate health insurance, company pays 100% premium for employee and spouse/domestic partner25 days of paid time off9.60 euro per day for a meal allowanceDonation to your favorite charity on your birthdayWellness perks via our kencko-er assistance program (legal, financial, work/life balance, and mental health services)A casual, dynamic, ambitious, and fun work environmentFree nutrition consultsSteep discount on kencko productsBe part of a B-Corp team that is shaking-up the nutrition industry for the better!kencko is committed to bringing together individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives.
