Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of skilled security analysts.
Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for the team.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and results-oriented team environment.
Security Strategy:
Drive the development and enhancement of the SOC service strategy.
Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and industry best practices.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure effective and aligned service delivery.
SOC Operations:
Oversee day-to-day SOC operations, including security event monitoring, incident analysis, and response.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
Design and refine security processes, procedures, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare and deliver detailed reports to SOC service clients.
Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks proactively.
Develop and maintain incident response plans and lead simulation exercises.
Communicate security risks and mitigation strategies effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
Education:
Higher education in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with a strong emphasis on SOC operations.
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of network security, operating systems, databases, and application security.
Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and NDR/MDR solutions.
Familiarity with security frameworks and protocols (e.g., NIST, CIS).
Core Competencies:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities in complex scenarios.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
Resilience and capacity to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure situations.
Certifications:
Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
