Skills and experiences
• Studies in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of security concepts, protocols, industry best practices, strategies, frameworks, and regulations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and cybersecurity tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
About you
Characteristics that demonstrate success for this role:
• You are an experienced SOC professional with a strong background in managing Level 1 security operations.
• You have a keen eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for cybersecurity.
• You are adept at coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day activities of a SOC L1 team, ensuring efficient and effective incident detection and response.
What you will do
• Manage and oversee the SOC Level 1 team, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and response to security incidents.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of security concepts, protocols, industry best practices, strategies, frameworks, and regulations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and cybersecurity tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
