Job Description Purpose The person with this role will serve as the main point of contact for support, administration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and associated applications.
Perform day-to-day support, administration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.Work directly with the ServiceNow Admin Team to resolve support issues and fulfill their requests within ServiceNow.Manage a team of ServiceNow System Administrators. Responsibilities The ServiceNow System Senior Administrator will work with a team to manage the configuration and maintenance of a ServiceNow system in a fast-paced agile project environment.
Resolve LDAP/SSO related issues and integration-related issues.Enable plugins (available or HI portal).Create transform maps if necessary to transform the data.Modify existing transform maps.Add or modify field maps to map the fields into ServiceNow.Create or modify simple transform map scripts to transfer data smoothly into ServiceNow.Create/customize SLAs.Create ServiceNow reports and dashboards.Manage email properties and system properties.Table archiving.Coordinate with ServiceNow vendor support for planned events, changes, or activities carried out in the ServiceNow datacentre.Create basic Service Catalog UI.Promote update sets.Resolve service portal related issues.Validate ACL for troubleshooting and workflow troubleshooting.Manage 3rd level support and escalations. Technical Skills Java, JavaScript, DBMS concepts, ServiceNow ITSM modules, ServiceNow platform and cloud infrastructure concepts.
Role Pre-Requisites The candidate should have at least 12 months of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Administration, database concepts, and data onboarding experience.
Understand the dependency between different ServiceNow platform and cloud components.Experience with ServiceNow datasets, transform maps, and reporting.Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodology. Certifications ServiceNow System Administrator, ITIL Foundation.
