Job Description ServiceNow Lead Developer Purpose The ServiceNow Lead Developer works as Sr Developer and technical advisor on the ServiceNow platform, ITSM and ITBM solution.
Defines requirements, designs, develops and implements ServiceNow technical solutions, complex system configuration, development of custom features and enhancements, and complex report and database query development.
Manages end-to-end implementations, provides expert level of support and technical mentoring to developers.
Responsibilities ServiceNow Lead Developer will own the development tasks of the solution based on integration of ServiceNow.
The ideal candidate will understand configuration management principles.
They will perform the necessary tasks to design and develop configurations and customizations on ServiceNow platform.
Manage High security settingsService Portal development and enhancementDevelop and manage UI pages, Macro and various objects by utilizing platform based Jelly script, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.Build advance email notification, templates, email script and event handling.Create/modify client script, UI policy and front end scriptsManage and develop various server side objects like Business rules, Script include, Workflow scripts, Schedules as per business requirement.Change management advance workflow customization and advance workflow scriptsAdvance Service Catalog UI and workflow developmentIntegrations AD/SSO/LDAP and some third party.
Develop integration scriptsWorks in upgrade issues/enhancementsWorks on advance custom application development and enhancementInstall mid server and test connectivity along with Implementation SpecialistIntegration catalog script developmentCustom advance workflow activity developmentDesigning and Creating an Application (ITSM, ITBM, ITFM, HRMS, CSM, ITOM)Role Pre-Requisites The Candidate should have 3+ years hands-on experience in Development in ITSM and NON ITSM Applications in ServiceNow.
Expertise in application development, Service Portal development, Software development life cycle (SDLC)/SCRUM, Agile and an in-depth understanding of Cloud stack, specifically ServiceNow.
Client-side programming/front-end development will be an added advantage.
Should know advanced web programming frameworks.
Skills Technical Skills Angular JS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS3, MVC Framework, GLIDE Scripting, XHTML, Workflow and UI development, OOPS and Database Concepts, ServiceNow ITSM, and Non ITSM application and Service Portal Concepts.
