What is the job about?
The Service Engineer is responsible for the execution of the repair and maintenance work as agreed with the customer. Tasked with ensuring customer satisfaction within the assigned market (Algarve), the Service Engineer is technically accountable and works to address customer requests with efficiency and professionalism.
Your main responsibilities:
Disassemble, inspect, trouble-shoot, repair and replace components, reassemble pumps, pump systems and accessories during field service operations.
Advise the customer about potential deficiencies within the overall system, proactively identifying and proposing effective solutions to prevent issues.
Conduct a thorough risk assessment for every task, prioritizing Safety, Health, and Environmental considerations.
Rigorously report on Safety, Health, and Environment-related concerns, maintaining a commitment to workplace safety.
Prepare comprehensive and timely service reports, encompassing warranty claims, FAS working hours, and other relevant details.
Register the identified product quality issues in the appropriate systems.
Execute the agreed maintenance services and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLA) for service agreements.
Provide feedback of relevant information to the respective stakeholders (sales and service sales PUs, operations).
Master the use of service tools and equipment.
Continue learning and development, ensuring optimal efficiency in service operations.
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
Technical education knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering.
At least 2 years of work experience in the industry or a comparable environment.
Experience with pump technology.
SAP experience preferred.
Showcase a hands-on approach to service, combining technical knowledge with practical application.
Demonstrate a commitment to delivering results, consistently meeting customer expectations.
