Position Summary At Bentley Systems, we deliver solutions for complex engineering projects. Our users are the ones designing, building, and operating the world's infrastructure. It requires us to know their needs very well, and this is where UX Design plays its critical role.
As a member of the UX team, you will use your knowledge and expertise to shape the experience of advanced 3D visualization, used by architects, urban planners, and other engineering roles, with a particular focus on the design and construction phases of the infrastructure lifecycle. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, fellow UX Designers, subject matter experts, and of course, users to deliver highly impactful, integrated, yet modular cloud-based visualization solutions that help millions of infrastructure visionaries all over the world.
We will rely on you for the following: Develop and implement novel support structures and functions to support business growth and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and enhance customer experience.Implement and manage critical tooling infrastructure projects, including contact center, workforce management, and CRM solutions.Drive business transformation initiatives to streamline and automate customer experiences, resulting in significant cost savings.Collaborate with all functions within the business unit to leverage program execution, and execute strategies and resources through the design of the program.Analyze trends, patterns, etc. to drive new and unique ways to enhance programs to meet our users' needs.Define strategic long-term and short-term program objectives supporting the business mission.Establish policies and procedures governing program execution and accountability.Set priorities and milestones for individual projects and initiatives within the program.Provide guidance to the organization, direct reports, and indirect reports.What You Bring to The Team: Proficiency in general UX design competencies and an eye for detail.Hands-on experience in formative and summative user research.Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.Proficiency in rapid and high-fidelity interactive prototyping.Ability to communicate design rationale to the diverse audience of engineering and business stakeholders.Great command of Figma.Skills for interpreting detailed software engineering concepts and being able to design within known limitations.A professional portfolio displaying skills, with particular emphasis on problem-solving.What would make you stand out: Prior experience with 3D workflows.Basic familiarity with a digital twin concept.Familiarity with game engines, such as Unreal Engine and/or Unity, basic understanding of the workflows.Experience in designing complex enterprise software products for different platforms.Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, User Experience, or a related field.About Bentley Systems: Bentley Systems (Nasdaq: BSY) is the infrastructure engineering software company.
