Our client is a market leader in the chemical industry with innovative forms of applications. As Senior Tax Manager, you will execute an exciting program of strategic growth initiatives including global expansion into new geographic markets. You will play a critical role in supporting business growth while ensuring compliance with all tax obligations. The job holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a taxation strategy that optimizes the taxation structure of the business. In addition to the requisite taxation qualifications and experience the job holder will need to excel in working across business teams, in different cultures and with external tax authorities.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Ensure compliance with all tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements across all countries where the business operates
Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate tax, value-added tax, and any other tax obligations
Monitor and manage tax payment deadlines ensuring timely and complete compliance with deadlines
Develop and manage a taxation strategy to complement the growth of the business and optimize the taxation structure of the global business
Underpin the taxation strategy with robust taxation planning to ensure the delivery of the strategy objectives
Develop, implement, and monitor a robust transfer price setting and reporting process
Ensure compliance with all transfer pricing regulations across the countries where the business operates
Seek opportunities to effectively manage transfer pricing to optimize business profitability
Manage a transfer pricing analyst ensuring appropriate training, performance management, and personal development
Provide taxation support to the business when evaluating M&A opportunities
Provide thorough review and analysis of taxation where the business undertakes in-depth due diligence of a potential M&A opportunity
Report to the CFO
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) or other appropriate professional taxation qualification
5-10 years of post-qualification experience
Proven tax management experience in a fast-growing international business
Ideal: experience with Big4 company for international exposure
Fluency in English is essential
A self-starter, inquisitive, tenacious and proactive in wanting to impact the success of a business
Excellent strategic, analytical, team working, communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to go the extra mile, positive can-do attitude as well as hands-on approach
