With the aim of bolstering the team, we are seeking a Senior Tax Consultant.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Tax Compliance and Reporting:
Prepare and review tax returns (VAT, CIT, Stamp Duty, WHT, Tax File, TP File, etc.
).Ensure timely and accurate payments to meet financial and tax obligations, avoiding penalties and interest.Maintain organized records of transactions and supporting documentation for reporting and auditing purposes.Develop and maintain compliance frameworks related to tax and financial operations.Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to align tax and financial reporting.Provide quarterly and annual financial and tax reporting to internal stakeholders.Offer guidance to stakeholders on financial operations and tax-related matters.Support the implementation of tax policies and internal control measures.Funding Management:
Act as a key point of contact for the financial aspects of funding arrangements, including intra-company loans.Ensure all funding operations are compliant with tax regulations.Monitor and optimize the structures of funding activities.Deals and Structuring:
Assist in deals' structuring and strategic planning to optimize resources.Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for decision-making.Tax Updates:
Stay informed about EU and local tax regulations to ensure compliance and capitalize on new opportunities.Analyze and interpret updates in tax legislation to identify potential impacts or advantages.Key Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in tax, finance or accounting.Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting (preferred), Economics, Management or Finance.Professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Accountant) are a plus.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with enthusiasm for teamwork.Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Fluency in English (written and oral).Local and Schedule
