Senior Tax Accountant (M/F/D) Lisbon

Your new role:You´ll report to the Senior RTR Manager and have the chance to work close to the Head of Tax. The primary objective of this position is to serve as an autonomous tax specialist, overseeing the execution of all indirect and direct tax procedures and their corresponding accounting. The individual will be entirely accountable for the accurate and punctual tax reporting for the designated entity or entities (Europe Scope).Responsibilities:Assist the RTR team and tax function with half-year and year-end tax reporting for the Group;Support tax compliance for group entities with external providers;Ensure transactions are taxed correctly, update process documents as needed;Handle direct and indirect tax activities, reconcile and monitor tax accounts, and ensure timely, accurate tax reporting;Act as an expert in direct tax accounting and reporting, develop technical tax knowledge, and provide internal training;Ensure compliance with internal procedures and legislation, track changes, and support migration projects;Assist with audits and escalate issues to RTR leadership, proposing solutions;Help to identify and implement process improvements.What you need to be successful:Degree in Finance/Accounting;5-7 years of tax/accounting previous experience (minimum);Big4 background is a nice to have;SAP experience is a nice to have;Experience in working with IFRS and local standards is a plus;Previous experience in a multinational environment.What the company can offer you:Hybrid working model;Flex benefits;Annual Bonus;Health and Life Insurance;Parking;Etc.Next step:In case you are interested in this opportunity, click on "Apply Now" to send us your updated CV.
