Your contribution to something big: You will be responsible for the analysis of the portfolio to be managed as well as the development, definition, and implementation of the material field strategy in cooperation with the business units.Global coordination as well as strategy implementation in the assigned material field are also part of your responsibilities.Market analysis and research on responsible portfolio to collect potential suppliers' demands.Closely work with R&D for purchasing-related projects execution (e.g., 2nd sources, new awardings, design changes, etc.).Supplier management in commercial aspects such as preparing and conducting annual price negotiations and negotiating contracts.Providing operational support to plants worldwide to ensure supply availability.Participate in escalation and bottleneck management to maintain the supply chain.What distinguishes you: Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar field required.
Personality: Open, flexible, and target group-oriented communication skills as well as high resilience and assertiveness.
Working Practice: Structured working and entrepreneurial mindset in an international environment. High affinity for cross-departmental cooperation.
Experience and Knowledge: 3+ years of professional purchasing experience in the area of electronics or electromechanical.
Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
