In our department you will be a crucial part of delivering a holistic strategy for maximizing the value proposition of Vestas onshore turbines across their full lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesAt a Full Lifecycle optimization´s level:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize the end-to-end value chain for our onshore wind turbine portfolio.Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, sustainability improvements, and enhanced value delivery across WTG sales, project execution, and service.Cross reference product portfolio with open use cases to identify gaps and opportunities to optimize existing fleet and new opportunities.Prioritize initiatives from a profitability perspective, leveraging value, cost, quality, and sustainability.Evaluate processes, technologies, and materials from concept to commercialization, operation, decommissioning and beyond.QualificationsMaster's degree or higher in Engineering or related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy industry, preferably wind.Previous experience with technical project leadership dealing with complex systems, specifically in service, project execution, manufacturing, or other value chain areas.Advanced business understanding and capacity to create, validate, and improve business case methodologies and financial models.Strong analytical skills and an enthusiasm for optimizing value chains.Effective communication and collaboration abilities, and capacity to communicate to senior leadership for clear and fact-based decision skills.Commitment to diversity and inclusion, ensuring an environment where all voices are heard.At a Multidisciplinary Leadership´s level:Leverage your expertise to bridge gaps between engineering, operations, and business functions.Be the go-to person for alignment across the complete value chain, fostering collaboration and best-for-Vestas's decisions.Champion a holistic, customer centric view that considers technical, commercial, economic, and environmental aspects.At a Technical Accountability for Wind Turbine Projects´s level:Take ownership of wind turbine development projects, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.Coordinate the technical aspects of the project, collaborating with module design teams.Integrate all aspects into a comprehensive product that meets market requirements.Ensure compliance with defined requirements related to power production, noise, cost, quality, and safety.Create, assess, maintain, and document performance metrics and facilitate continuous improvement.Facilitate balanced solutions within aerodynamics, composites, mechanics, and other technical domains.Scope technical requirements and support project planning and timelines.Navigate issues, risks, and deviations while adhering to our stage gate model.Partner with the Senior Project Manager for seamless execution.What we offerYou'll join a committed and innovative team with technical high-performance standards and experience in delivering the best onshore products in the industry.A meaningful role in shaping the future of onshore wind energy solutions, with a clear stake in establishing sustainable business and value drivers for the business.A substantial network of key industry subject matter experts across all areas of the value chain.A flexible work environment that supports inclusiveness and diversity, and fully lives up to the full Vestas values of Collaboration, Simplicity, Accountability and Passion.Additional informationWe look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible, as we will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis.
