Job PurposeThe Senior Specialist Medical Affairs supports the VP of Medical Affairs and Research in a broad range of activities related to the specific therapeutic areas such as: Coordination of Advisory boards & roundtables, congress/event planning, contracting with external vendors, content development, analysis and reporting of progress of research programs, publications and enhancing the company's external reputation.Key AccountabilitiesProject co-ordination, organization and preparation of medical events/meetings (Advisory Boards, Roundtables and other MoonLake led Medical meetings)Support the vendor/external expert engagement process and the handling of contracts, signatures, invoices etc.Support in medical & scientific research content preparations in a range of formats (presentations, reports, and charts)Support in management, analysis and reporting from ongoing basic and translational research programs for external presentation/publication in close collaboration with KOLs and research partnersLead congress planning and logistics of congress activities & engagementsKeep abreast of the competitor landscape for the specific therapeutic areasYour profileEducation: PhD, ideally in a scientifically relevant field for the CompanyExperienceDemonstrated ability to independently research, evaluate, interpret and present complex scientific dataDemonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team of peers and outside expertsProject and vendor management experience strongly preferredSkills/knowledge/behavioural CompetenciesPossess an organisational and planning talent with excellent communication skills (written or spoken)Ability to represent the MoonLake Medical Affairs in a positive and highly professional manner to all internal and external customersPositive attitude and commitment to meeting goals and objectives.High degree of personal accountability and transparencyNatural scientific curiosity and willingness to learn and absorb new content Strong analytical, synthetic mindsetExcellent MS Office skillsWork Location:2 days a week in our brand new Cambridge or Porto office.Why us?An exciting job opportunity awaits you!
