About this opportunity
Welcome to the Sourcing, Security & Technology Governance (SSTG) team in NAM. We are part of the Governance unit within NAM covering a broad base of areas. We add value by supporting business and emphasising compliance in the following areas: sourcing, oversight, information and cyber security and technology governance. Within these areas we ensure clear and transparent structure, bridging Nordea's requirements into NAM. This includes understanding the needs and requirements of the different stakeholders, such as business, customers and regulators.
As the Senior Specialist, you'll play a valuable role in supporting the team head and NAM Governance organisation and management to handle complex tasks and initiatives including own IT systems and applications, resource and requirements to service vendors. An important part of obtaining compliance requires attention to regulatory requirements and legislation.
What you'll be doing:
You will be working closely with management and teams within the Governance unit, own department and relevant areas within NAM and Nordea.
The position will include a large variation of tasks such as:
Participate in setting up structures and implement new requirements from NAM, Nordea or regulators.
Participate and run projects within governance and the team.
Work closely with business and technology stakeholders (e.g. Application Owners, Application Providers, management) to ensure Governance's technology plans for applications are handled according to IT governance framework.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders in the team and in Governance to assist, advise and support stakeholders.
Collect and prepare material for internal development committee and secure relevant resource needs for the Governance area.
Act as back up for areas within IT Cost and internal client responsibilities.
Advisory and Business Support
Act as liaison between management in the Governance unit, technology and business teams to coordinate relevant matters related to IT-systems and application ownership within Governance.
Act as ambassador and bridge the requirements for governance, business and technology.
Promote efficient, accurate and compliant service management throughout the NAM organisation.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:
A genuine interest in developing and improving NAM's sourcing, security and technology governance set up together with management and team.
Solid communication skills in fluent English (verbal and written) and ability to collaborate effectively cross NAM value chain and with multiple organisational stakeholders and partners (e.g. Application Owners) in communicating, translating and operationalizing complex matters.
Personal attitude and self-motivation for achieving results combined with an ability to plan your own and others' work, including identify, define and solve IT application needs to meet agreed deadlines.
Solid analytical skills and a structured and methodical approach to tasks.
The ability to take both a high-level "helicopter" view and to pay attention to details.
Thrive in a changing and high pace work environment.
Your experience and background:
Minimum Bachelor or Master degree in Finance Administration or Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience working with business and IT Service Management.
Analytical competence to assess business and technical needs for project management.
Good business understanding and knowledge of investment management or asset management business domain (or a similar field).
Good understanding of the general regulatory framework and governance applicable to the financial sector with emphasis on the technology area.
