About the role The Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership in designing and implementing complex digital solutions. The person will be involved in defining the architectural vision, ensuring alignment with business goals, and working with different stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business success.
The Architect will work with our Pre-Sales and Delivery teams in our Digital Experience unit, responsible for designing and delivering B2B solutions to our customers. This position represents an opportunity to work with key stakeholders and be involved in an innovative industry, participating in offer definition, pre-sales support, and project delivery.
We are seeking someone with strong design capabilities, and solid knowledge of architecture patterns and principles. The candidate is also required to have expert technical skills to help solve complex problems for our customers.
As a part of your job, you will: Design, modify, and test technical architecture. Design systems architecture that will meet business needs, by acting as a bridge between business/functional and technical teams. Review business context for solutions to company challenges as well as define the vision and requirements for the solution, recommend potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs, or prototype development), select the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution. Assess the systems architecture and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it. Understand the current systems blueprint and propose transition architectures to meet the solution requirements. Provide supervision and guidance to technical architects and development teams. Continually researching current and emerging architectural patterns and paradigms and proposing changes where needed. Describe the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the architecture to various stakeholders. Assess the impacts on the overall business goals and outcomes that certain solution choices have. Ensure the correct behavior of a new system/component and how it will fit the existing enterprise environment. Guarantee the adoption of architecture and standards methodology. Participate in pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise and guidance during client meetings and proposal development. Assist in the creation of compelling offer definitions and value propositions that highlight the benefits and capabilities of the proposed solutions. What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science is preferred. Proven work experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture, and architectural frameworks (minimum 5 years). Strong knowledge in the telco domain, including industry standards like TMForum. Strong design capabilities and solid knowledge of architecture patterns and principles, including microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and layered architecture. Experience building digital channels for B2C, both assisted and non-assisted, including shop, self-care, call centers, and stores. Familiarity with concepts, technologies, and best practices required for building engaging solutions that focus on user experience like tag management, SEO, SSR, product catalog, payments, content search, segmentation, and personalization, conversion rate optimization, and web analytics. Good knowledge of the e-commerce domain, including the understanding of online retail processes, customer journey optimization, shopping cart and checkout systems, payment gateways, inventory management, and order fulfillment. High-level knowledge of functional and technical domains of business enablement systems, including customer management, billing, case management, order management, and others. High-level understanding of marketing and loyalty domains, including digital marketing strategies, customer segmentation, targeted campaigns, and omnichannel marketing. Familiarity with loyalty programs, customer retention strategies, rewards systems, and marketing automation tools. Knowledge of API management and enterprise service bus solutions, including their responsibilities and functions in a typical architecture. Experience working with digital experience platforms like Liferay, Contentful, or Adobe Experience Management. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, as well as associated tools and methodologies. Preferred knowledge of hyperscale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, including core services, architecture best practices, and deployment strategies. Understanding of cloud-native applications, scalability, load balancing, security, and cost optimization to effectively leverage these platforms for business solutions. Experience in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, implementing secure coding practices, and ensuring compliance with industry standards like OWASP. Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Preferred knowledge of development languages and frameworks for both frontend and backend, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, React Native, Java, Spring, and Python. Personal traits:
