Your Role
This software development role will incorporate the initial design, development & writing of code alongside suitable & appropriate testing and effective implementation. Your Responsibilities
Take technical responsibility for application development with a focus on Java.
Play a major role in shaping our services and building up a modern architecture for the logistics industry.
Shape our services throughout their lifecycle - from ideation and specification, architecture design, prototyping and integration into production systems.
Work closely with product owners and business experts across multiple business units.
Continuously improve our solutions by evaluating new tools and frameworks.
Your Skills And Experiences
Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with several years of professional experience as a software engineer or equivalent role.
Proven software architecture and development skills with advanced hands-on experience with Java application development and related technologies such as Spring Boot, JPA (Hibernate), JUnit, and Mockito.
Experience with Kafka, Elastic Search/Opensearch, Kibana, and Camunda is a plus.
Front-end development using one or more modern web JS frameworks (Angular >v14 preferred) is an asset. Comfort with tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Git, and ideally IntelliJ IDEA, Docker, OpenShift, or AWS.
Interest in working with agile methodologies and evolving agile strategies.
Ability to quickly grasp complex relationships, as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills.
Openness to sharing knowledge with colleagues and learning from others.
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
