We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the team and help us build our product that serves millions of users globally. What you'll be doing Own the definition and execution of groups of software changes, while taking into consideration performance, reliability, cost, quality and security. Solve complex technical problems. Learn and teach technical skills. Join your team's on call rotation and help them support the high availability of our products. What you bring to the role Proven backend software development experience. Demonstrated ability to lead the design, implementation, delivery and operation of high traffic customer-facing software in production. Great communication skills in English to collaborate with teams spread across the globe. Preferred Qualifications Experience with some technologies from our tech stack (see below). Experience working for a SaaS company. Tech Stack Our backend code is written in TypeScript and runs on Node.Js. We use Express as our web framework. Our data is stored on MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, S3, and is queued or streamed through RabbitMQ, Kafka and SQS. Our workloads run on Kubernetes clusters hosted on AWS. We use various AWS services.
