What You Will Do:Define and implement robust cloud-native architectures, leveraging the Azure Cloud Platform to drive business transformation.Provide strategic technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams, fostering best practices in security, scalability, and performance.Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into scalable technical solutions while aligning teams around architectural decisions.Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.Conduct code and architecture reviews to maintain high standards of quality, ensuring adherence to coding guidelines and best practices.Stay on top of emerging technologies and industry trends in software engineering, cloud computing, and architecture, constantly evolving the team's capabilities.What You Will Need:5+ years of experience architecting and building cloud-native applications, particularly on the Azure Cloud Platform, or other major cloud platforms.Proven expertise in delivering scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions within complex, high-traffic environments.Deep knowledge of relational databases and experience with performance optimization in cloud-based applications.Strong proficiency with containerization tools (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide engineering teams towards achieving technical excellence.Strong problem-solving capabilities with a strategic mindset for overcoming technical challenges.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and influence decision-making across the organization.Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Fluency in English is a must.Location: Lisboa
