. Senior Salesforce Software Engineer – Lisbon
Capgemini Portugal is currently looking for a Senior Salesforce Software Engineer to join one of the world's most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry.

To leverage Lisbon's tech spirit and infuse it into its brand-new Tech Competence Centre, our Client is looking to reinforce its technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and respond to the growth of their business. Their Lisbon teams will be an extension of its central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated in the core technology workforce. Responsibilities Propose and develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other programming languages and frameworks.
Participate in complete application life cycle from technical design, architecture, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality salesforce solutions using coding best practices.
Your client-centric mindset allows you to identify and recommend creative solutions to build extensions to the out-of-the-box capabilities of the platform.
Guide the development team to a successful setup and ensure they follow the best practices.
Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources like architects, admins, configuration experts, and stakeholders regarding status, risks, and any technical issues.
Understand dependencies and anticipate regressions on the platform.
Actively participate to the Agile ceremonies and give constant updates of the evolution of the development of features in the sprint.
Ensure functional and technical health of features developed by your peers by cross-testing among the development team and being involved in all test phases.
Help the support team troubleshoot and deliver quality solutions to bugs raised in production.
. Academic Background Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in in Salesforce development, ideally with exposition to call centre solutions.
Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Developer 1 and 2, Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Administrator, Superbadges)
Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce products (ability to investigate and debug issues)
Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to Salesforce development (e.g., Apex, Java, JavaScript).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodology. Experience with Jira and Confluence suitable.
Previous exposure to test automation technologies and best practices is a plus.
Excellent proficiency in English.
