Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Jumia (Full Time)

What you will be doing Contribution to Test Plans:Implement tests from design stage to execution (e.G., Functional, Performance, Load, and Stress), evaluate results, document deviations, and analyze user requirements Create Test Case specifications based on ticket descriptions, acceptance criteria, and business/tech KPIs Prepare test data, environments, and execute test tools (e.G., Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter, Jenkins, Hiptest) Use test frameworks for Mobile apps, Mobile theme, and Desktop Automate tools and procedures for QA layers, identify obstacles, and share solutions with the team Work with product owners, developers, and team leaders to define acceptance criteria and plan test coverage What we are looking for +5 years of experience (is a plus) Academic background in IT or equivalent (is a plus) ISTQB Foundation (strongly preferred) Knowledge of Gherkin syntax, Quality Processes, and Agile Methodologies Experience in Web Software and Mobile Applications, Software development life-cycle, and test processes/flows Experienced with testing tools such as Cucumber, Static/Dynamic Analysis tools, and JMeter Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and source control systems (GIT) Familiar with technologies such as Java, Ruby, and JavaScript Solution-oriented, proactive, organized, attention to detail, and proficiency in English #J-18808-Ljbffr
