About the Role:Mindera is seeking a talented and experienced Senior QA Engineer specializing in mobile testing to join our team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of high-quality mobile applications. You will ensure that high standards are kept throughout the development process and within the product deliverables. You will also have an important role in planning and developing automated test suites.Likewise, you will work closely with the development team, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and develop appropriate test strategies. You will also collaborate with other QA Engineers to continuously improve our testing processes and tools.RequirementsYou will:Gain a good understanding of mobile apps developed by engineering teams you work with.Help grow the community of excellence across our apps' product development teams by advocating and influencing the best quality practices.Work within your area to define quality outcomes and a roadmap to achieve them.Be able to write high quality code to create or enhance test frameworks.Actively consider key non-functional requirements for your area of work.Drive a self-organized agile team; accountable for your team's delivery while promoting collaboration and transparency with stakeholders.Key Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA Engineering, with a focus on mobile testing.Have had good experience in organizations with a shift-left approach to quality.Good experience in mobile apps automation and human testing.Hands-on experience in mobile test automation skills such as Android Espresso, Appium, XCUITest.Real-life experience of using TDD in native apps testing.Have good experience of CI/CD pipelines and workflow for test types.Have practical experience with GitHub Actions and Team City.Have a good experience with Test Double.Have familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like Applitools, SauceLabs or BrowserStack.Understand cloud-based microservices architecture (e.g. AWS) and associated challenges.Have familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling like NewRelic or Grafana.Are problem-solvers who can apply their skills to technical issues.Active learner to adapt new changes and tech changes in mobile apps.Know what good looks like, and how to get there - you are an experienced test expert who values the broad range of testing activities that together ensure quality in the product.Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, coaching, and influencing skills.Have the right attitude to challenge status quo and improve situation.BenefitsThe Things We Really Care About:Health Insurance, because health comes first.Flexible working hours.Open holidays, take the time you need for yourself.Profit distribution for everyone.Mindera Annual Trip, Sports, and sharing groups to connect and have fun!Training & conferences, create your own training plan.Child Care vouchers.Other Good Things:Choose Laptop & Peripherals that best suit your needs.Hotspot with unlimited usage (PT), for work or Netflix.We have amazing offices in Porto, Aveiro, and Coimbra if you want to physically connect with minders.
