Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and mechanically qualified Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of our new project in Portugal. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in large-scale construction projects within the chemical or related industries. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the project in Portugal. Ensure all project objectives are met, including timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. Coordinate and manage all aspects of the project, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Implement robust project management practices, including risk management, cost control, and performance tracking. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, procurement, and operations, to achieve project goals. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions. Ensure compliance with all local regulations, standards, and environmental requirements. Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Extensive experience as a Project Manager in large-scale construction projects, preferably within the chemical industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, engineering principles, and industry standards. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus but not required.
