In our department, we are accountable for establishing, operating and implementing the project portfolio of power plant solutions to secure stable grid connections around the world. We coordinate and deliver our projects according to our execution model in an efficient way from scoping to market delivery. In our department, we are all leaders and aim to live Vestas' values: Accountability, Collaboration, Simplicity and Passion, to deliver on our promises on time, cost, and quality.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and deliver projects out of our office in Porto, while the projects have a global reach with teams and stakeholders worldwide.Scope, initiate and implement Power SI module projects.Be accountable for budgets, timelines, and project plans.Accountable for planning, including technical reviews, project management reviews, and gate recommendations according to the governance of Vestas R&D.Monitor progress and escalate risks and deviations timely to find mitigations to issues.Communicate clearly to the complete stakeholder map, and lead downwards, upwards and laterally in the organization.Work closely with line management to secure the right staffing and timely initiation of the projects and set the teams up for success.Responsibility for own process excellence initiatives.QualificationsTechnical or other relevant degree (B.Sc or M.Sc). An engineering degree within electrical, IT or similar would be an asset, but not a requirement.Preferably 4-6 years of experience with project management and 8 years in total.Experience with managing software projects in agile environments is a positive factor.Experience with project management in large matrix organizations and managing stakeholders on a senior level (up to Vice President level).Good understanding of different execution, governance, and budget models.Fluent in English, both written and verbally.Understanding of project management toolboxes and balancing effort between project leadership and project management.Ability to coordinate projects across different cultures and shape a team even when some are managed remotely.Embrace changes and develop surroundings through the changing environment.Solid IT skills and ability to quickly understand and read systems and dependencies between systems.What We OfferAs a Project Manager, you will develop personally and professionally and get a broad interface and exposure to several levels in the organization.
