Job Description Essential Functions: Execute active controlling on project financials (such as revenue & cost recognition, etc.), acting as gatekeeper for appropriateness of transactions recognized for projects and clients Manage all accounting related functions for assigned projects and clients Assist client teams with any questions on the project set-up and accounting (including revenue and cost recognition, recoverability of unbilled, volume rebates, provisions etc.) Understand compliance requirements for assigned projects (internal policies, IFRS & JSOX) Key Responsibilities: Track and report project expenses and revenues including the preparation of invoices and purchase orders. Monitor project financials and provide regular updates to the project management team. Preparation of project budgets and forecasts Ensure that project expenses are within budget. Recording project financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records Collaborate with project managers to identify and resolve any financial issues. Assist in the preparation of project financial reports and presentations. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Communicating with project managers and other stakeholders on project financial status Revenue & cost recognition and ensuring it follows IFRS standards. Monitor work in progress and act as required to ensure projects stay on track and on budget. Managing work-in-progress accounts, ensuring that they are accurate and up to date. Monitor project invoicing and collection process. Provide support to project manager in project forecasting and cost control. Provide guidance to junior project accountants. Perform other financial tasks as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar working experience 3-5 years of experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial analysis Experience working with project accounting and financial management. Excellent organizational and time management Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable but not mandatory
