Defines AFG /IND customer product portfolio strategy from key applications and customersIdentifies suitable Other BU product lines that are fit for purpose and complementary to the IND portfolio.Develops a 3–5-year growth plan aligned with sales and other BU stakeholders, outlining the elements needed to successfully lead the growth aspiration.Focus on identifying critical portfolio gaps and implementing gap closing measures for core AFG/IND customers not served by the TE portfolio across the BUs.Understand and incorporate portfolio strategies of Other BU portfolio owners.Business Development of Other BU Product Lines:Establish and develop close relationships with key customers and cross-BU stakeholders to drive growth at AFG/IND core customers.Drive actions in the short and mid-term (1-3 years) based on the developed strategy and growth plan.Identify, select, and propose product roadmaps and selected NPD across multiple BUs with lead customers.Identify key customers in focus, define and agree on account plans and AFG plans with sales, and specify opportunity size (PAM) for Other BU.Define global go-to-market strategies for the assigned portfolio in alignment with regional product line strategies and the IND sales team.Owns the Other BU Front End:Define pricing guidelines/playbook for core IND price agreements for Other BU product lines.Manage pricing and influence standard margin, including ideas for cost-out and footprint optimization in collaboration with other BU product management teams.Contribute to the forecasting process and align sales and supply chain on forecasts and sales projections.Partner effectively with the sales organization to drive empowerment that accelerates speed and responsiveness.Act as the go-to person for industrial customers, customer service, and account teams regarding IND customer issues with products from another BU.Actively network and build trust-based relationships with key stakeholders in industrial sales and other BUs (e.g., supply chain, engineering, PM) to help resolve issues.Manage day-to-day business in collaboration with other BUs, including special pricing, delivery escalations, S&OP, etc., partnering with the appropriate functions.
