Job Description About your Role Engage directly with the leadership team to design and execute product development strategies, goals, and timelines. Coordinate with the Engineering and R&D teams to conceptualize ideas and translate roadmaps into tangible products. Coordinate thorough testing and validation strategies for prototypes and final products, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization. Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as researchers, clinicians, and industry experts to gather insights and ensure market needs are met. Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure seamless transition from product development to manufacturing. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to drive the development of cutting-edge commercial products. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Biology or related fields (Bonus: Master's or PhD). 3+ years experience in Product Engineering or Product Development (Bonus: Life Sciences experience). Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in coordinating and managing cross-functional teams. Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successfully delivering commercial products. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment that may require adapting quickly to new directions or taking initiative and ownership of key workstreams. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategy, roadmaps, and vision to a range of audiences. Ability to gain consensus among cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships. Bonus Skills: Understanding of Optics (spectroscopy, Raman, FTIR or similar techniques). Understanding of AI (machine learning, deep learning).
