Senior Process Engineer (M/F) Lisbon
Responsibilities Based in the analysis of process data and performance indicators, define the need to carry out technical audits to kilns, mills and other equipments or to provide operational support to the company units;
Define and implement the various phases of the work, in accordance with internal methodologies and with a high level of autonomy. When necessary, coordinate the whole team involved in the work;
Report the conclusions and define and follow-up an action plan focused in the operational improvement;
Provide process support in all the phases of an investment project (from tendering phase to commissioning and performance tests);
Identify and propose opportunities for improvement;
Contribute to the technical training of the company employees in the process area, suggesting new training areas, developing training material, delivering training sessions.
Qualifications Chemical engineering degree;
8+ years experience as a process engineer in the cement industry, preferably complemented by experience in production and/or quality control;
Experience as a process engineer at corporate level is preferred;
Comprehensive knowledge of process engineering (concepts and calculations) and process measurement techniques;
Comprehensive knowledge of the cement production process;
Thorough experience supporting Engineering teams in all stages of a new investment;
Thorough knowledge in cement chemistry, quality control, environmental aspects of cement production, laboratorial testing of cement, raw materials and fuels is preferred;
Analytic and problem solving capacities;
Good communication skills;
Team spirit and focused in cooperation;
General knowledge of IT tools, comprehensive knowledge of excel;
Professional working proficiency of English.
Limited to professional working proficiency of French or Turkish are advantages.
