Apgar is looking to recruit a Functional Software Consultant to join the growing team in Porto and be part of a global team that excels in delivering Data Governance and Management solutions for large organizations in Europe, North and South America, Australia, and the Middle East. External Missions Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of ETL processes Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes Identify and troubleshoot issues in ETL processes and develop solutions to resolve them Regularly monitor, maintain, and optimize existing ETL processes Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing on ETL processes Guide junior members of the team Ensure Agile best practices are followed Skills Required Mandatory Skill: Fluent in English Preferable Background: Bachelor's degree – preferably in Industrial Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar. Highly Valuable: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly Valuable: Problem solver with a keen eye for details and an innate drive to deliver results. Preferable: While on day to day you are not a developer, you either have been in the past or you find it easy to have technical discussions with them. Required Profile Mandatory experience: +3 years of experience as Functional Consultant and/or Business Analyst in a software consultancy environment. Mandatory Skills: client-facing exposure; requirements gathering and analysis; participation in designworkshops; analytical skills and problem-solving. Desirable Experience: Experience in designing data models, conducting data analysis, and participating in the software testing phase. Desirable Experience: Worked in an agile environment.
