The Role You will be part of a multidisciplinary team accountable for providing insight into the internal happenings of our network and how business objectives and user experience are impacted by internal network states. You will develop and maintain the systems that collect the data, the tools that enhance and perform transformations and the appropriate monitoring, alerting and reporting instruments.
We run a multi-site platform, following strict security requirements, provide the service to customers around the world and manage millions of subscriber profiles. Requirements What you will do: Maintain, support and enhance network monitoring systems to enable both visibility of QoS and QoX. Deployment and maintenance of near real-time network protocol analyzers. Create incident management analysis capabilities based on alerting, KPI monitoring, log and network tracing. Defining and optimizing data models for analytics platforms through the creation of data aggregation, correlation and enrichment ETL flows. Managing and deploying services running in Kubernetes. Domain knowledge in OSS/Observability Platforms and Applications with hands-on experience in supporting and managing Customer OSS Applications and Tools. Ensure interworking of OSS/Observability applications, including integration in third-party alerting and analytics tools. Analyse, specify and validate new solutions, functionalities, technologies, equipment and tools. Assist the roadmap management with quality estimates promoting effective management of expectations. Accountable for the outcomes of his work, and for the effectively working end-to-end flows. Strong contributor to roadmap implementation allowing a continuing and fast evolution of the solution. Be able to deliver small incremental features often. What you will bring: Familiar with CI/CD flows, Git, Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment. Demonstrated experience in network observability and/or OSS/BSS. Experience with modern open-source technologies like Prometheus, Alert Manager, Grafana, Loki, Kafka, etc. Knowledge of SNMP standards. Experience with Linux systems administration, orchestration and automation scripting (e.g. Ansible, Terraform). Experience with cloud services management in AWS is a plus (e.g. EC2, RDS, S3).
