For which tasks (responsibilities)? N-iX Games is looking for a Narrative Designer for a PC premium game. You'll be responsible for a game's story description behind locations, objects, and characters. You'll create the narrative of a new IP and define and build a player's emotional journey by creating all narrative aspects of a captivating, hard SCI-FI world. What kind of professional are we looking for? Requirements:
At least three years in the games industry and two years in the narrative design area
Design story and narrative-driven content
Creating and maintaining design documentation to communicate changes to the team
Conduct progress reviews of narrative elements, gathering feedback from the team members and play testers to reach the best possible result within project limitations
Be forward-thinking and anticipate the game's needs with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative
Desire and ability to support other Game Designers in defining systems and structures to improve the game experience throughout the entire game, not just in the story/narrative area
As a plus:
At least one shipped commercial title is a huge plus
Experience with Unreal Engine
Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
Written English (at least B2)
Familiarity with hard sci-fi genre and narrative strategy games
A portfolio containing examples of narrative work and examples of style variety is a plus
