We provide our customers with high quality products with rewarded industrial designs with high durability. Bosch Communication Systems is a specialist in product development of mechanical and electronic design for Conference and Public Address and Voice Evacuation systems. The conference products can be found in many governmental institutions and are used by world leaders. The Voice Evacuations systems must always deliver exceptional performance and reliability. The development starts with a business need and via our Product Engineering Process this leads to ideas, requirements, samples and finally to series production. The- disciplinary international teams work closely with our manufacturing plant in Ovar and Zhuhai to achieve a- quality product for our customers. The mechanical engineer contributes on creative concepts for the product design and realizing these ideas into feasible products. Your contribution to something big: The mechanical engineer develops and documents the mechanical designs from concept to release to manufacturing until it meets the requirements and regulations. The mechanical engineer creates new concepts based on theoretical calculations, proven technology or with prototypes and presents them to stakeholders to support in making the right decisions based on risk management. The mechanical engineer can design and modify 3D-models and 2D-drawings in CREO for manufacturing of components and the assembly of products. The mechanical engineer can estimate the development effort and the product costs and can commit to product costs and planning of the mechanical activities in a project. The mechanical engineer defines test plans, perform testing and write test reports. The mechanical engineer can evaluate components from suppliers. Qualifications What distinguishes you: Minimum of Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, but preferable Master degree The mechanical engineer has a minimum of 5 years as engineer in product development The mechanical engineer is- active and has good social skills The mechanical engineer can make quick technical decisions while keeping the business impact in mind The mechanical engineer has proven theoretical and practical knowledge of mechanical development with good knowledge of material (plastics, metal, rubber) and production methods (injection molding, die castings, sheet metal) The mechanical engineer is familiar with development methods like FMEA, DFMA, V-model, DRBFM and structural analyses (FEA). Good communication skills in English is required for effective presentation and reporting of concepts, designs and test results. Additional Information Hybrid regime - 2 days at the office in Ovar
