The Senior Logistics Procurement Manager will play a critical role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of Unilabs' logistics operations through strategic procurement activities. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics processes, supplier management, and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for logistics services, optimizing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings and operational improvements.Key Responsibilities:Procurement Strategy:Develop and implement procurement strategies for logistics services, considering cost, quality, and delivery performanceEnsure alignment with company objectives and logistics requirementsSupplier Management:Identify, evaluate, and select suitable logistic service providersNegotiate contracts and terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and service levelsManage relationships with key logistics external service providers and partners, to ensure adherence to agreed SLAs and KPIsCost Optimization:Conduct regular cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementsImplement strategies to optimize logistics spend, such as consolidation, route optimization, and inventory managementPerformance Monitoring and Reporting:Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor logistics service provider performanceRegularly review supplier performance data and drive corrective actions where necessaryPrepare and present reports on logistics procurement activities and performance to senior managementInternal collaboration with key strategic stakeholdersRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fieldProven experience (8-10 years) in procurement, specifically in logistics and transportationStrong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skillsIn-depth understanding of logistics operations and best practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-makingStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of regulations and compliance requirements related to logistics procurement, ideally in a highly regulated sector such as healthcare or pharmaceuticalsFull proficiency in English is mandatory.
