Your new role:
Role is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective transportation of goods by air, sea, and road freight, ensuring cost and standards of service are optimized to support business and customer expectations. As a subject matter expert and key member of the Enovis International Integrated Supply Chain team, the Senior Transport Coordinator will play a key role in implementing best practice processes, driving standard work , fostering team collaboration, and enhancing overall operational performance and customer service.
Main tasks:
• Act as global point of contact to support the day-to-day operations of air, sea, and road freight transportation activities in the various International locations.
• As part of continuous improvement, Implement and optimize standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Map, simplify, and automate processes that drive improved performance, raised efficiency, and eliminate errors
• Maintain a constructive operational relationships with our logistics providers to ensure service, quality, and costs levels are maintained
• Report for key performance indicators such as on time delivery, rate compliance, and volume coverage
• Analyze, recommend, develop, and lead implementation of opportunities that optimize transportation
• Review carrier performance data and act on issues that need escalation or RCCM actions
• Schedule and coordinate quarterly business reviews with key vendors
• Validate, approve and track logistics vendor invoices and costs
• Proactively collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to streamline processes and identify and resolve the root cause of issues
• Be market aware for all modes of transportation to ensure rate optimization and assist in the development and management of the transportation budget.
• Drive systems led productivity improvements to ensure consistent and sustainable results.
What you need to be successful:
Minimum 5 year of experience in operational Supply Chain or Logistics
Language Skills: English Fluent (mandatory);
Experience working with ERP systems: Oracle, Agile and Salesforce preferred;
Excel Skills;
