As our new Senior Legal Counsel, you have a solid understanding of both the Legal and the Tech sector.
You are a considerate, bright, forward thinking, entrepreneurial candidate, with a passion for software and "legal tech" products.
You are a person with strong communication, hands-on mentality and strong analytical skills.
Your TasksProactively shape the strategic direction of our "legal tech" roadmapPlay a pivotal role within the dynamic and forward-thinking Product and Tech teams; from the initial stages of design and development, through launch and implementation of new products and services - globallyReview customer journey and user flows, product feature guides, marketing materials, and other customer-facing communications to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards globallyProvide front-line counseling to our commercial teams and drive the negotiations and contract closures for our global SaaS businessBuild and maintain knowledge of critical global law developments and authority decisions.Externally promote and advocate for the integration of "legal tech" advancements, empowering professionals to transform the way they work and maximize their productivityBeing the Legal representation of our company at public speaking opportunities, conferences, and workshopsPartner with internal stakeholders across various functions globally, to proactively provide legal guidance and manage legal risks and requirements, with the balance of advancing our business goals and growthDevelop scalable processes for Legal review of new products and services You BringUniversity degree of law in the European Union, Economics Law or comparable education with a strong connection to Technology Operations, Legal Tech, Product as well as Data Privacy and IT SecurityMinimum of 5 years experience in a comparable globally operating legal operations role and in the area of Legal Tech, SaaS, information security and data privacyAdvanced In-house counsel experience requiredSolid understanding of complex SaaS and digital products, tracking/scanning services, consent management and on-prem technology solutionsComprehensive knowledge of global commercial, privacy and data security laws and regulations, especially of laws, legislations and authority decisions in the European Union and worldwideProven track record and strong public profile with an outgoing and social personality being comfortable with public speaking engagements, conferences, workshopsFluent in written and spoken English (our company language).
Portuguese, Danish, German and other language skills are a huge advantageWillingness to travel to our other hubs in Europe and/or to public speaking engagements
