As a vital member of the Global L&D team, you'll play a crucial role in producing effective learning solutions across various learning environments, regions, and lines of business (Eats, Rides, Safety).The role requires an individual who can earn trust, manage stakeholders, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll be tasked to drive innovation and showcase agility in your responsibilities. Additionally, you'll be responsible to strategize, lead, and manage training programs leveraging advanced technology and also dig into data to discover pain points and develop content strategy to address these issues.What You'll DoDefine the comprehensive project strategy for business programs under the purview of the L&D Design team, acting as the project lead. This involves evaluating the project needs, engaging with Stakeholders to discern their training requirements for both immediate and continuous needs, and developing suitable training programs. Provide valuable insights and recommendations, establish timelines, monitor progress, and ensure effective tracking throughout the project lifecycle.Collaborate on business projects by partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), analyzing Learning Objectives (LOs), and developing scalable learning solutions.Contribute to strategic projects or support specific tasks within strategic initiatives to carry out project responsibilities, oversee implementation, and provide dedicated support in the post-implementation phase.Experience with instructional design principles, including curriculum development, learning assessments, and continuous improvement strategies, is essential for this role.Develop assessment items to test learning objectives.Experience in developing and implementing training solutions integrated with new technologies, with expertise in platforms such as WhatFix.Continuously identify and implement operational efficiency and innovation opportunities within the instructional design domain.Build, scale, and adapt training templates and assets.Perform learner analysis and gather learner feedback to evaluate and enhance training programs, learning paths, and practice activities for experiential learningMentor and guide Instructional Designers in the team and ensure success of the team.What you will need:External:Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.5+ years L&D experience or 3+ years Design experienceProven experience as an Instructional Designer or in a similar role.Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.Must have strong knowledge of e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).Advanced skills in eLearning content authoring tools (e.g.,Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond etc.), and Google SuiteSuccessful track record of leading and delivering large-scale ID projects and initiatives across multiple functions and geographiesHands-on experience using data to conduct analysis and problem solvingWorking knowledge of UX/UI principles for designing engaging and user-friendly learning experiences.Good English language skillsInternal:Intermediate stakeholder managementPrevious experience as an Instructional Designer and proficiency with authoring tools like (Storyline, Camtasia, Vyond, etc).One completed performance cycle or minimum of six months in prior roleAdvanced in Google Suite and Articulate RiseAbility to analyze, interpret business metrics and present complex information effectively.Preferred QualificationsSuperior organizational, time management, and prioritization skillsStakeholder Management skillsExcellent project management and organizational skills.Superior and effective written, verbal, and visual communication skills and proven ability to influence and drive consensus at senior levelsFamiliarity with industry-standard authoring tools and technologies.Experience with Graphic Design toolsAbility to analyze, interpret, and present complex information effectively.Solid understanding of multimedia elements and their integration into instructional materials.Experience with designing and developing training programs for various audiencesExperience with digital adoption platforms (DAPs) or similar systemsExperience working in a customer service environment (business process outsourcing, call centers, etc.)We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently.
