Senior Java/Spring

Overview:

This role seeks a skilled Java developer with strong experience in Spring (including Security, Data, Cloud), Microservices, and DevOps (Jenkins, Kubernetes). Proficiency in REST APIs and good English are essential.

What will you do?

Develop and maintain backend systems using Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Security, Data, Cloud)

Design and implement microservices for scalable, distributed applications

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and deploy services on Kubernetes

Develop and integrate REST APIs, collaborating with frontend and other service teams

Work in a cloud environment, using tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, and the ELK stack

What are we looking for?

Very experienced in Java, Spring/Spring Boot (incl. Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud) and MicroService Architecture

Experience in DevOps: Jenkins, Kubernetes and REST APIs

Very good English language skills

Frontend development with Angular and TypeScript

Cloud platforms (AWS Cloud) and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK stack)

Git

Experience with E2E frontend testing with Cypress or Playwright

Jira, Confluence

Pair programming

German language skills
