Blades Procurement is responsible for the management and development of the global supplier base within the Blades product area. The Department is split into 3 commodities with different system and materials responsibilities, where Blades Structural Materials is one of 2 material areas, covering Carbon, Core Materials, and Chemicals.The Blades procurement team consists of 25+ people working in a matrix organization where colleagues are located in India, China, Portugal, Denmark, Brazil, Mexico, and the USA. The procurement work within Vestas is managed through cross-functional teams in the context of Module and Category Management.We are responsible for developing the supply base short, medium & long term with a view to always be able to satisfy requirements (KPIs) regarding safety, quality, delivery, and cost and thereby contribute actively to improve the high quality of the Group.
