We have more than 150 active partners and we operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports.What are you going to do?Managing a team of accountants providing services to the Group in different countries including recruitment, training, staff assessment and deciding on the distribution of work within the team;Ensure Internal Control is adhered to and strengthen processes whenever needed;Managing the books of the Portuguese entity including all accounting aspects;Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger;Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts;Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards (internal and external);Generating financial reports;Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support;Preparing taxes or gathering tax documents;Supporting the Auditor, Controller, and other financial professionals in their duties as needed;Performing end-to-end closing including reporting data into the consolidation tool;Preparing local statutory statements.What are we looking for?Bachelor's Degree in Accounting;Chartered accountant in Portugal;3+ years of experience in an accounting role within a multinational environment;Demonstrated ability to navigate and use SAP successfully;Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel;Process-oriented thinking;Works on initiatives to improve project accounting operations and document management process;Independent and conscientious way of working;Strong analytical and effective problem-solving skills to identify and correct issues;Ability to work on a team and independently;Experience in Finance Shared Services for a Global Company is a strong plus;Selects and hires employees for the group mentioned above;Excellent knowledge of (reading, writing, and speaking) English.
